Merry Christmas to both Aussiebirder and Family and Dr. Jim and Family. May all of you have a blessed day and may we all have a great 2016. Just maybe, this will be the year our Lord returns, if not sooner.

It is hard to imagine that our Creator-God (Who apparently has made more than sextillions of stars for His cosmos — that’s 10 to the 22nd power!) kindly and mercifully chose to caringly redeem us — apart from which redemption we would hopelessly remain unforgiven sinners and tragic failures — by sending His eternal Son as a human baby (while simultaneously still being God the Son!), in order to accomplish the Kinsman-Redeemer solution that He promised back in Genesis 3:15. To see a newborn baby boy, and to realize that Jesus was once one of those, pictures Isaiah 7:14 & 9:6 for us. The Scripture’s good news of God’s gracious remedy for our sin and lostness — it is much more amazing that the most bizarre fiction, yet it is the greatest display of both love and holiness imaginable (1st Timothy 3:16). Thanks, Lee, for helping us to get a little closer to the glory of God our Savior. And may the days of AD2016, for you and Dan, be blessed and filled with the best of birdwatching! [And, regardless of what time of year You were really born, more than 2000 years ago: Happy Birthday, LORD JESUS!!!]

Thanks, Dr. Jim. We are so blessed by the Lord to have Salvation provided by God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. True, but hard for our earthly minds to fully comprehend. Yes, “Happy Birthday, LORD JESUS!!!”

Our pastor just preached on the Birth of Christ and a baby a few weeks old was dedicated just before that message. Seeing that little one and then watching this video, just sort of brings home the fact that the Great Creator, stepped into our time and space as a little baby to become our Savior. Tears of awe and joy flowed. :)

How wonderful Lee. I will always recall this time of year how when I was in Bethlehem I saw the ‘lambing cave’ where Jesus the ‘lamb of God’ was born, it so made sense that the so called stable was actually cave where lambs were born. I was deeply moved by this insight also:-)
