Dr. Jim, we saw over 1000 Common grackles fly around and landing on the power lines after the storm last night. Many fowls of the heaven.

Common Grackles are so magnificently iridescent that the word “common” seems a misnomer. Looking forward to whatever photographs you and/or Dan have of those grackles. As you know, grackles are a favorite of mine: http://www.icr.org/article/grackles-gratitude .

There were not shining, because it was early evening, stormy, and way over my head on very high power lines. :( But I took them anyway. :)
