Tickle Me Tuesday – Owls With A Message

My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.” (Psalms 119:148 NKJV)

Most of us don’t need coffee to open our eyes, but some do. Owls would not need to worry about being awake during the night watches, because that is when they are most active.

Just thought you might enjoy a few “tickles” from the Owl family members.

  1. Oh thank you Lee – how I love this one and I do love Owls. They are such
beautiful creations. I laughed so hard at looking for the kitten with the owls – she looks a bit scared herself. I’m glad you posted this – I really needed this good laugh today.

  2. Oh, wow, I love this. And I am awake through the night watches. It’s 2:16 a.m. here, and I’m glad you posted this before you went to bed because it really cheered me up to go back to bed in a better frame of mind myself. Sometimes I’ve even put on a pot of coffee in the middle of the night because a good cup of freshly brewed coffee actually affected my frame of mind positively enough to help me get back to sleep too. And it’s odd about owls. I used to sort of dislike owls. But in the last couple of years, they have begun to speak to me — so to speak. I was a little surprised when the Lord gave me the idea of the Chocolate Owl journal — and then led me directly to the stencil necessary to create the owl himself. But it has been one of the most fun things I’ve done in a while. Then a couple days ago, I came across a chocolate brown owl mug that fit the theme perfectly, so I HAD to buy one. I’ll probably post about it some time this week with a picture.
