  • A child of wrath. — Ephesians 2:3.
  • Evil in heart. — Genesis 6:5; 8:21; Jeremiah 16:12; Matthew 15:19.
  • Blinded in heart. — Ephesians 4:18.
  • Corrupt and perverse in his ways. — Genesis 6:12; Psalm 10:5; Romans 3:12-16.
  • Depraved in mind. — Romans 8:5-7; Ephesians 4:17; Colossians 1:21; Titus 1:15.
  • Without understanding. — Psalm 14:2,3; Romans 3:11; 1:31.
  • Receives no the things of God. — 1 Corinthians 2:14.
  • Comes short of God’s glory. — Romans 3:23.
  • Defiled in conscience. — Titus 1:15; Hebrews 10:22.
  • Intractable. — Job 11:12.
  • Estranged from God. — Genesis 3:8; Psalm 58:3; Ephesians 4:18; Colossians 1:21.
  • In bondage to sin. — Romans 6:19; 7:5,23; Galatians 5:17; Titus 3:3.
  • In bondage to the devil. — 2 Timothy 2:26; Hebrews 2:14,15.
  • Constant in evil. — Psalm 10:5; 2Pe 2:14.
  • Conscious of guilt. — Genesis 3:7,8,10.
  • Unrighteous. — Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:10.
  • Abominable. — Job 15:16; Psalm 14:3.
  • Turned to his own way. — Isaiah 53:6.
  • Loves darkness. — John 3:19.
  • Corrupt & c in speech. — Romans 3:13,14.
  • Devoid of the fear of God. — Romans 3:18.
  • Totally depraved. — Genesis 6:5; Romans 7:18.

Punishment consequent upon
