Hi Lee! I am a homeschooling mom up in Jacksonville. I love your blog! The elementary kids in our co-op are learning all about birds for their science curriculum this coming year! I am searching high and low to find someone certified in bird banding who would be willing and interested in doing a live demo of bird banding. Do you have any personal contacts that might work for me?? I’ve contacted the FWC and have come up dry. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Blessings, Heather

I have never banded, so I can’t be a lot of help. Had you wanted a birding lecture, I have done that in this area for homeschoolers. Love your zoo up there. Would be an excuse to come up. :)
