Vulture Photos

There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate. (Isaiah 34:15)

  1. We will be getting turkey vultures for our Aquarium and would like permission to use your (1 by Mike Bader & the two by Ian) photograph in our upcoming newsletter “Waterlines”.

We are a nonprofit organization and cannot pay, but will give credit to the photographer, and copies of “Waterlines”.

If you agree, we would need high resolution images to place in our article.

  2. I’m doing a chapter on the Turkey Vulture and trying to develop the subject of being judgmental with this bird. I think most of us think of the vulture as this ugly bird just eating on dead, stinky carcasses. I captured a pic of one flying and it is beautiful. I learned the usefulness of the featherless head. The more I study the bird, the more useful I see it is to our eco-system. What we learn if we but take a moment to study the subject.
