What a pleasant meditation, Lee. Thanks! It’s good to have a perspective adjustment at the beginning of a day’s tasks. And it reminds me that the tasks of each day are not out-of-control, because God is providentially managing the day’s serial and simultaneous challenges (1st Cor. 10:13), and He is faithful to provide for our specific needs as they apply to each day. As our bodies “groan” (Romans chapter 8), we are reminded of just how dependent we are upon our Lord Jesus Christ. “His eye is on the sparrow, so I know He watches [i.e., watchfully cares for] me.”
