Nuggets Plus
As they swarm,
the African locusts
has the uncanny ability
to avoid crashing against
one another…
We are fearfully
and wonderfully made
by His own hands
in His own image…
But,
We often crash against each other..
Why?
Is it because,
we have lost “THE WAY”?
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.” (Psalm 37:23,24)

A crop (or croup sometimes called a craw) is a thin-walled expanded portion of the alimentary tract used for the storage of food prior to digestion that is found in many animals, including gastropods, earthworms, leeches, insects, birds, and even some dinosaurs.

As with most other organisms that have a crop, the crop is used to temporarily store food. Not all birds have a crop. In adult doves and pigeons, the crop can produce crop milk to feed newly hatched birds.
Scavenging birds, such as vultures, will gorge themselves when prey is abundant, causing their crop to bulge. They subsequently sit, sleepy or half torpid, to digest their food. Most raptors have one; like falcons, hawks, eagles and vultures but owls do not.
Cows eat grasses and then spend time digesting their food. (See Video)
When we read God’s Word, do we digest it and meditate on what we have read?

As the female holds its wings
without flapping,
the male Dragonfly,
gives the forward thrust
from behind to push the female forward…
Be still and know that
Jesus will provide
the forward thrust
to not just push you forward
but to place you ahead of the others..
After all,
We are His bride
And He is our Bridegroom…
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. (2Chronicles 20:17)

The Heron family
Has very patient members.
They wait very still with

Poised for action.
Then at the right time,
They grab their opportunity..
Are we as patient
As the Herons
Or do we run ahead of the Lord?

African Honey Bees, called as killer bees will pursue the enemy quarter mile or more… Never did our Creator ask us to pursue the devil but, to just resist him and he shall flee forever…
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

We are introducing “Nuggets Plus” to our articles by ajmithra. We were chatting the other day, via Yahoo, and decided to use some of aj’s short little Nuggets of Truth that he has already written. He said that they were not all about birds and I reminded him that the Last Word of this blog’s name is “PLUS.” It was named that way so that other articles of interest could be added like creation or other animals, flowers, sunsets, etc.
A J Mithra, ajmithra as he prefers, lives in India and has been a regular contributor for several years. He has about 150 of these already written and will start posting them regularly. They are short, but have a “nugget of God’s Truth” tucked away in each of them. We may have our other writers add to them. Who knows the future, other than our Lord?
