God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable) and He approved it. (Genesis 1:21 AMP)

Here is an interesting link to Answers in Genesis about the “beginning of birds.” It is a 5 minute video by David Menton, Ph.D.

  1. I am trying to comment using a different email address. I hope it works.

Ah, I cannot watch the video, but it seems some still hold that birds evolved from dinos. I recently received an email from Project Feeder Watch’s blog touting this. :( We knew it’s not a Christian organization, but really, they should just stick to talking about feeding birds. Sigh… We had already signed up for the year to participate, but I do not think we will next year.

  2. If you want to know how desparate some are to promote the dinos-to-birds myth, check out this short article, that explains a spoliation-of-evidence “smoking gun” trend regarding dinosaur DNA research: “Dinosaur DNA Research: Is the Tale Wagging the Evidence?” posted at http://www.icr.org/article/4947 . The truth is, there should not be any dinosaur DNA fragments existing today if dinosaurs went extinct millions fo years ago, as opposed to thousands or centuries of years ago. JJSJ
