“Remember to magnify His work, Of which men have sung. (Job 36:24 NKJV)
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of checking out more birds of the Lord’s creation at the Cincinnati Zoo. The weather and the temperature were great and the birds were quite content to let us watch and photograph them. It has been over 45 years ago since we visited this zoo. Needless to say, it has changed and the most striking was their beautiful landscaping throughout the zoo.
When we arrived at the Wings of the World area, We were greeted by several birds and a neat statute of a child holding a bird. This shows how some of the landscaping was used around the zoo.
Wings of the World Aviary is divided into several different habitats and types of birds.
As you enter, you are greeted by Macaws, Screamers and a Laughing Kookaburra.

Amazing pictures. All those colors are gorgeous. I’d like to think they aren’t all male. It seems that in most families of birds, the male gets all the pretty coloring.
If you’re in Cincinnati, then you’re closer to my neck of the woods, since I’m in Southern Illinois. I’ve been to Cincinnati only once. I was there for some training for a job I was starting, and I had the most frustrating, but hilarious experiences in that place. It’s a whole story in itself. I think maybe I should write it some day. Hope you and hubby really enjoy your time there.

Oh, my, that’s even closer. I wish I had some time off this weekend, and I’d travel up that way and try to meet you and your husband personally. But I’m working Saturday and Sunday both. Well, have a great trip. I never get to Florida. At least I haven’t gotten there for the past 20 years. But if you ever know you’re coming close to Illinois again, if you’ll let me know a little ahead, I’ll really try to touch bases with you guys.
