House Sparrow nest in Sign

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. (Psalms 84:3 KJV)

      • I’m also challenged by this seemingly endless search for a theme I’m happy with. Of course, I like to change from time to time, but not as often as I’ve been doing lately. I get one that I think will work, and then a week later, I realize it doesn’t do something else I need it to do. Maybe I’m just getting too particular in my old age. But I think I’m going to experiment again today. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

          • Actually, I have only two things that I’m focused on. First is the ministry, which involves face-to-face teaching and prayer as well as the written teaching. The inspirational novels are part of that ministry because the Lord showed me that thousands of people who will never pick up a non-fiction Christian teaching book will read inspirational novels and learn about Him and His Word. The only other focus is making enough money to keep living on this planet. That, unfortunately, sends me in several different directions because it takes three part-time jobs to pay the bills. It does seem a little scattered at times, but at least I’m never bored. And, of course, since I’m a widow with no children and very few family members living, none of the regular domestic responsibilities need very much attention.
