“To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;” (Proverbs 1:2 KJV)

Would this make a good series for the Birds of the Bible for Kids blog or even this blog?

  1. Hi Lee, would the series be focused on wisdom? The cleverness/uniqueness of certain birds, for instance?

I enjoy your blog and believe that if the Lord is leading you to take things in a new direction, why not give it a try? 🐧

    • Thanks for your thoughts. “Focused on Wisdom” captures my thinking about this. That and just the beauty of the birds the Lord created. A series is not really a new direction for the blog, just another way to present birds. This blog has been built on series of articles. Many are still ongoing, “Birds of the Bible,” Avian and Attributes,” plus all the others. Occasionally I actually have a birdwatching adventure to report. [Though that has slowed lately] :)

Where this blog has developed still amazes me. The Lord just keeps giving ideas and also providing others to enhance this site. James J S Johnson, Emma Foster, Ian’s Birds of the whenever :), plus others.,

The Lord really has been blessing the last 10 years. Also, with around 10,700 birds, there is no way those birds will all be covered.

I am always open to more writers. Interested?

      • I am excited about this new series, Lee! It sounds like the Lord has faithfully been giving you content (and birds) for some time, and there is still much more for us to learn!

I am curious about the bird wisdom angle. The way I see it, the Lord has made everything with great wisdom and cleverness, including the birds! However, whenever I’ve seen Planet Earth or Planet Earth 2, I’ve always been quite mesmerized by the comparative intelligence of birds. 😀

I know very little about birds, though – pretty much what I’ve learned from your blog – but I’d open to learning more about the writing idea that you have in mind! ✝️ I’m honored and touched that you asked!
