Pileated Woodpecker by Lee

I always enjoy seeing Pileated Woodpeckers like this one at Circle B Bar Reserve here in the area. This was taken several years ago.
I found these videos on YouTube and they show the Pileated in a different way than we have observed them. Enjoy!

I have been reading through Jeremiah and these verse caught my attention.

Talk about an unusual verse! Jeremiah 10:11 — it’s the only verse in the book of Jeremiah that was originally written in Aramaic (not Hebrew), so maybe that emphasizes that the message of Jeremiah 10:11 was (and is) especially applicable to idolatrous Gentile pagans! The rest of Jeremiah was written in Hebrew (which is linguistically similar to, but not the same as Aramaic). There are parts of Aramaic in Ezra (4:8-6:18 & 7:12-26), and half of the book of Daniel () 2:4-7:28, perhaps foreshadowing the eschatology of Luke 21:24 & Romans 11:25) was written in Aramaic. Ultimately, of course, why God did that we can only guess at — but we know that He had a good reason for doing so. Meanwhile, for a Biblical illustration, of some Aramaic words providing a clue to understanding a hidden-in-plain-view insight, consider how King Belshazzar tried to avoid dealing with the category of professional experts that the prophet Daniel belonged to, when Belshazzar was confronted with and condemned by the handwriting on the wall — the graffiti of judgment! Thanks Dr. Jim. Didn’t know that about the verse as I was thinking more of those who push evolution. Evolution did not create a Pileated Woodpecker, but only a God full of Wisdom. We are on the same page though.
