This morning our Whistling Duck pair came looking for food, as is becoming their routine. Dan was planning to mow the grass today, so the food dishes were empty and stacked on the patio. So, I put one close by and gave them some food.

How lovely the Whistlers are becoming your wild pets, how lovely that our Lord is sending them as an expression of his love. I love the way he sends the birds each day here also and we develop a friendship.

Yes, they are getting comfortable around me. Right now, they seem to be some of our few visitors. It has been quiet out back lately, except for them, and the local domestic ducks.
