When we were there in the last two weeks, they were sitting on eggs, so I would assume spring time.

I’m sorry: I had to laugh out loud. These truly are offspring that only a mother could love.

The Lord has a since of humor to make these babies look like that when they are newbies. Yes, the mother loves them and also has to watch where she puts her large feet and that beak right there by them. :)
