What busy little birds! Many years ago (during the previous millennium!) I wrote an article for the Dallas County Audubon Society, a local chapter of the National Audubon Society, a wildlife appreciation organization that accents birdwatching. Their local newsletter was then (and still is) called WOODS WINGS WATER, a reminder that where you find woods and water you are sure to find winged wildlife. Seeing the photograph of the Chestnut-winged Cachalacas reminded me of that fact of bird habitats. (Of course, other habitats, not dominated by trees or abundant water resources, also host birds, but often not as many as water-blessed forests.)

Thanks for that information, but I have to admit I was expecting a limerick about the birds and bananas. 🙂
