  1. Just yesterday there were several white egrets visiting the pond in my backyard. Hopefully they were eating snakes before they can slither into my backyard. Yes, I know that snakes are part of the ecosystem, but I nonetheless have a few NIMBY (“not in my back-yard”) preferences.
