“To the Chief Musician. Set to “Do Not Destroy.” a Michtam of David When He Fled from Saul into the Cave. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me.” (Psalms 57:1-2 NKJV)

“He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. ” (Psalms 91:4 NKJV)

  1. Watching the eagle weather the falling snow, with musical background, is quite a privilege — how hardy and resilient those raptors are designed and built to be! As I try to think of all of the details that must interact, for the eagle to be what it is and do what it does, I cannot imagine the bioengineering genius and power that God must have in order to successfully desire eagles to handle snowy weather as they do. Truly astonishing — what is demonstrated in this living creature is precious — how great God is! — I’m reminded of Revelation 4:11. Thanks for posting this, Lee. (And thanks, God, for making and sustaining eagles as You do.)

    • I was amazed just watching how they stayed put during that storm. The parental care that the Creator gave them for their young is neat. They were practically willing to give their lives for those youngsters. Some parents today are frustrated at just little things they have to do for their children.
There definitely are some messages attached to their behavior.
