I spent a couple of hours in the cold this week chasing around a fast flitting RC Kinglet hoping for a shot of its red crown. I failed. But is consolation that I have a crown (or two) waiting in heaven! William

Amen to that! The more the better to be able to lay at Jesus’ feet.

This post reminded me of the crown of thorns that Jesus wore so we can share a glorious crown at his return. Thanks for sharing the art of God’s creation, God bless.

Some beautiful and exotic birds there Lee! Would love to see the Purple-crowned Fairy-wren one day when I get back up the top end again, but your little Woodnymph got me, they are all so beautiful reflecting their stunningly beautiful and magnificent Creator.
