Golden Eagle – Goodness of God

Hi! Gals and Guys, this is Golden Eagle flying in for a few minutes. I remembered when I woke up this morning that this is my Father’s World. The gold is His , the silver belongs to Him, and He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. I rolled out of my nest early this morning and everything was wet. You know it rained really hard yesterday night. I stretched my wings out so the glistening sunlight could warm them up. I began to preen my feathers, sometimes they get really messy in the morning. I heard the melodious songs of other birds and smiled when I thought of the goodness of God. You know, some things are so simple that we often miss them. God is spelled G-O-D and good is spelled G-O-O-D. They’re almost the same. For you see, God is good all the time. He sends the rain and the sunshine on the saved and the lost.

Jesus said “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed (dressed) like one of these.”(Matthew 6:28-29)

Jesus also said “Behold the fowls of the air: (the birds) for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” You see, the Bible tells us of the Creator-God . He says that we were created just a “little lower than the angels.” You humans are much better than us birds. You really didn’t evolve.

Hey kids, we all have our troubles and problems. When Jesus says to think about the lilies, the flowers, the fowls, and the birds He is telling us to think about God. Put your mind on the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this by reading the Bible, the Word of God. Every day we should read the Bible. And with God’s help we should believe the Word of God and try to obey the Word of God.

Psalm 2:2-3 says that “his delight is in the law of the Lord (the Word of God): and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

He delights in the Bible and thinks about God. In my nest I have ice-cream every night because that’s what I delight in! Jesus continues, “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Thinking about God will make you a success every time!

Focus on God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and He will work a miracle in you. Get saved and His life will flow through you and He will pour out His blessings on all the people you come in contact with. This is my Father’s world.

See ya!!!

Universe: Life Anywhere Else?

Hi again! This is Golden Eagle flying in to talk about some more important info for this journey of life! Last time we talked about the fact that the God of Creation, the Lord Jesus Christ, created birds on day number five. In fact, we have seven days each and every week. Where does that come from? In my previous flights I have come to realize that the moon goes around the Earth in a few days and we get a month. The Earth goes around the sun in 365 and a quarter days and we get a year. But, in all of my flying, I did not realize where the week came from. And then it dawned on me, the 7-day week comes from the fact that God created everything in a 7-day week. You guys know that seven on a roll of the dice is a LUCKY number. Did you know that in the biggest atoms there are seven electron shells and no more. I have flown over six continents; however, all together there are seven continents on the Earth. There are seven colors in the rainbow. The last book of the Bible, Revelation, is full of the number 7! It seems like seven is a number that represents completeness. Well, enough of the number seven. The point is, boys and girls, the Bible is packed full of very interesting and useful information for our journey of life.

I don’t like vultures very much. Whenever I fly over central Florida, I see black vultures and turkey vultures. I have heard some birders call turkey vultures – TVs. When you see a vulture soaring around with wings on a warm thermal in the Summer-time and you see mostly black with a little gray at the end of the wings, that’s a black vulture. Vultures have a keen sense of smell. If an animal dies, they can smell their next dinner meal. God has created them for a very specific purpose. They are God’s clean-up crew. They also help lower the spread of disease and bacteria! Usually people feed birds. Did you know that at least one time in history birds fed people?

Elijah, the prophet of God, was experiencing a drought in the land of Israel. And God told Elijah to “get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the RAVENS TO FEED THEE there.” (I Kings 17: 3-4) “And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening…” (I Kings 17: 6)

Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) - Grandfather Eagle by PastorBBC

Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) – Grandfather Eagle by PastorBBC

Hello boys and girls again! This is the Golden Eagle!

Did you know that eagles have very keen (excellent) eyesight ? We can see prey at great distances! I would say that we are one of the TOP birds!

Listen to this Bible verse:

And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. (Revelation 4:7)

The word “beast” comes from a Greek word, zoon, and it means living creatures.

You are familiar with the word zoo, zoology-the study of animals.

  • The lion is the king of the beast! Jesus is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah! The lion represents the beasts of the earth.
  • The calf or ox represents the cattle!
  • The eagle represents the fowl or birds of the air!
  • And man is God’s greatest creation created on day number six of creation week!

The Bible is full of amazing truths! These living creatures are part of the angelic creation! They live in the very presence of God and they are full of life!

In fact, God through His Son Jesus Christ has given us everything necessary for life. Life does not end at death. Even science teaches us today that matter and energy go through changes, but they do not disappear!

Well, your soul and spirit are eternal, you will live forever somewhere! The very best place to go is God’s Heaven! Make sure that you are saved! If you do not understand what salvation is all about, begin to read the Gospel of John in the New Testament! It was written so that you would believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and in so doing that you would trust Jesus to save your soul!

God created this vast, material Universe and He has a plan for ALL of it, even the material stuff! One day we will fly higher than any eagle has ever flown! I hope that you enjoy being alive! If you are having a difficult time with life contact us and we will try to help and encourage you by sharing God’s Word with you and pointing you to the Lord Jesus Christ!

By for now!

Golden Eagle – Noah and the Dove

Noah and the Dove ~

Golden Eagle

Hi again boys and girls! It’s me, the Golden Eagle. In case your wondered my nest is in sunny Florida! I think there are close to 400 different species just in this state! Hey, have you started to keep your journal yet? Write done the birds you see, what the birds are doing, what time of day that you see the birds, and anything that might be out of the ordinary! This Bible and bird journey should get very interesting!

And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark. Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth. So he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, which did not return again to him anymore. (Genesis 8:10-12 NKJV)

This whole wide earth was at one time, in the past, covered with water! Now that is really not hard to believe. Even today, the earth is covered with water, about 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered with the stuff! In our Solar System we are the only WATER PLANET! Every mountain was at one point covered with water. Scientists have even found sea shells on the top of Mt Everest! Your average Scientist thinks that Noah’s flood is just a myth, and that the surface of Mars was shaped by a flood! The truth of the Bible teaches us that the surface of the Earth was shaped by water! The Grand Canyon of the United States was carved out by a lot of water in a little bit of time. Of course the evolutionists say that the Grand Canyon was formed over millions of years by a little bit of water, the Colorado River.

On the wings of a snow white dove! The DOVE is a beautiful bird. It flies ever so gently with the color of a white snowflake. Sometimes even people today liken the Holy Spirit of God to the dove. White in holiness and purity, flying here and there, the Holy Spirit whispers to our minds and to our hearts that JESUS is indeed the Son of God, Heaven is real, the Bible is true, and after death there is something more in God’s wonderful purpose for you and me!

Hey kids! Start reading at least one chapter in the Bible each and every day! And don’t forget to join the ranks of the birders of the world! Until next time, this is the Golden Eagle soaring away into the sunset and my next meal! See Ya!!!

Golden Eagle Takes A Name

Golden Eagle Takes A Name

Boys and girls, it’s me again! I have taken on a name: the GOLDEN EAGLE. So, if you send us messages you can simply call me the Golden Eagle. My very best friend, Jesus once said;”

Behold the fowls (birds) of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? (Matthew 6:26 KJV)

Hey, as you go through your day watch the birds! It really doesn’t look like they work to hard! Jesus is saying that His Father feeds and takes care of the birds each and every day! Now here’s a thought. I don’t know what part of the world you live in? The cool thing is that God feeds the birds every day! ALL the birds in the entire WORLD. If He takes care of the birds, He will surely take care of you in whatever situations you find yourself in. I know some things are hard to deal with, even as kids. But God is up to the task and really everything is easy for Him! So TRUST HIM! Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him (Jesus). Psalm 2:12

Boys and girls, Jesus also said in our Bible verse that you are better than birds. Now birds are neat! I am a birder, a rather new birder, I have been at this a few months. You see evolution teaches that we have evolved from a rock, an explosion, a single celled creature, etc. It teaches that we are all animals. But Jesus said you are better than the birds. The truth is that you and I were created just a little bit under the angels! And do you know that angels can fly? They fly very swiftly the Bible says! Daniel 9:21 Oh that verse is talking about the angel Gabriel coming to visit the prophet Daniel.

Remember, your Heavenly Father will take care of each of you today! You also each have a guardian angel that watches over you! Maybe we have more than one guardian angel. Eventually, we will fly like the angels! Gravity doesn’t affect them you know.

Hey, have you started your journal yet? You can write down all kinds of things. Don’t forget to send us your really cool bird stories. Have a great day and if possible attend a good church on Sunday, or any day for that matter! Until next time, this is the Golden Eagle saying Shalom!

Greetings From …?

Greetings From …?

Oh, I know you don’t know them all, neither do I! But that is how we learn about God’s Creation. We use the five senses that Jesus created us with. Hey, can you let us know what the five senses are?

Also, in your very own journal, write down interesting bird stories. We all have one I am sure.

Let’s start this amazing journey together. If you stay with me, at the end of your life, you will also fly like a bird all the way to a place called Heaven, if you are saved!

The first book of the Bible is a book of beginnings! It is called Genesis for good reason, it means beginning. On day number five the Bible says in Genesis1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl (birds) that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

So boys and girls, birds have been with us since day number five! A long time, not millions of years, but thousands of years! Another interesting bit of knowledge: The great whales are actually the sea monsters that maybe you have heard about, yes that’s right, the dinosaurs of past ages. Also, the land animals and land dinosaurs were created the day after the birds. You know evolution teaches us that birds have evolved from the dinosaurs! However, the Bible says that God made dinosaurs and birds at the same time!

Well, I must fly away for now, I have other things that I must do today! Bye until next time!

Oh, thanks for joining us on this amazing journey into the world of birds and the Word of God!

Golden Eagle

See Ya!
