What a darling picture, Lee. And I didn’t expect the baby cranes to look like that. I guess I just didn’t think of them as having the same kind of furriness that ducks and chicks have. Don’t know why, but I was surprised.

The “newness of life”. I wonder if Christians really believe that they have newness of life in Christ? If they do, what would such a person look like? I believe that it would be somebody who lives life without fear, because his trust and dependence would be on Christ. Kind of like the crane chicks in the photograph, they have no fear as long as they follow their parent. When somebody strays away from God, they forget that they have newness of life and live in constant fear. When that happens to any of us as believers, we must call out to God, and like the mother crane, He is come to His lost children.
