There are some other devotional readings which do something similar, with taking a key word and coordinating with Bible verses. Here is one example; however, I think that the one, two, three, four-word format gives you greater flexibility.

I checked out that link and agree with you that the one, two,… works much better for what being done here. I did change the name of the whole collection to Daily Devotionals and made a link in my left menu. Thanks.
