Joy is one of those aspects of the fruit of the Spirit that are so difficult to understand. It is often confused with happiness, however happiness is contrived through outside forces working on us. However Joy happens when we let the Holy Spirit of God work in us in a special way. Once you let God cultivate joy within you, then it will seep out of you and spread to others.
