Thank God for those who have served our country, in uniform (or in other risk-assuming public service)! It has been my privilege to know a few military veterans (and even a few non-uniformed operatives), of WWII and/or later wars/conflicts. Truly, we can all thanks God for providing such servants to give of themselves as they have fought for (and otherwise defended and advocated) for our civil liberty, national security, and similar freedoms — in the most practical and costly ways — for our ultimate benefit. May God continue to bless America with such unselfish servants!

Thanks, Dr. Jim. Dan gave 30 years, counting his reserve time. My father gave his life slowly from the mustard gas of WWI. Our country would not be what it is today without those who have selflessly served over the years. As Christians, we should all be serving well our Commander and Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ no matter what country we live in.
