  2. How sweet. We have so many turtles trying to cross busy highways around here this time of year. Whenever I see one, I always try hard to swerve around it, of course, but then I always pray for the Lord to get it across safely. I just wish they’d be satisfied staying on their own side of the road. I wonder what makes them want to go to the other side? Wonder if they have reasoned out a particular purpose, or if they are just going to be going.

    • Good question. Over there in Melbourne area, most are hatchlings on the beach and headed for the water. Thankfully, they do not have to cross a road.
