    • Thanks. Not sure why that one was going the other way, but it brought that verse to mind. Seems like today, many Christians are trying not to go with the crowd, but many don’t succeed.

  1. I just had the neatest experience. I had a few slices of old bread here, and I usually try to throw it out into the yard for the birds. I did that about 20 minutes ago, and just now I noticed a yard full of little baby birds going after it. I counted between 15 and 20 (they wouldn’t hold still long enough to get a better count, but I know I saw 15). They acted just like human kids do — as if they had been set free to run and play and find their own food for the first time. There is also a puddle at the edge of my drive (from last night’s rain), and they all alternated between picking up the bread and devouring it and playing in the puddle. I need new batteries in my camera, or I would have tried to get a picture, but I probably would have scared them off before I could have taken good aim.

    • That would have been neat to watch. We just had 10 finches hit our feeders about 15 minutes ago. I understand the migrations have begun. Yeah!
