Reminds me of the dying prayer of William Tyndale [“Lord, open the king of England’s eyes!”] , while Tyndale was being strangled to death and then burned at the stake, for translating the Holy Bible into English, against the wishes of the Church of Rome, in Vilvoorde (Belgium), not far from the current Brussels HQ of the European Union. And shortly thereafter his prayer was providentially answered, to the amazement of his generation and to the everlasting benefit of the world. [See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Tyndale .]
