So that’s what a Mannikin looks like — not to be confused with a mannequin, whose usual “habitat” is near retail store windows.

They look a lot like our Chestnut-breasted Mannikin here in Australia.

Just checked Wikipedia. They are the same bird. Munia and Mannikin. I will update.
